New Delhi: The government on Tuesday announced a ban on the export of sanitisers and ventilators with immediate effect in the wake of growing number of coronavirus cases in India.
A DGFT notification stated: “Export of all sanitisers…is prohibited, with immediate effect.”
The exports of ventilators including any artificial respiratory apparatus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breathing appliance/device have also been banned, it said.
Last week, the DGFT had banned export of ventilators, surgical/disposable masks and textile raw material used for making masks.
